Welcome Back The Blog!!!
Well, the blog has been down since December 26th, 2008 and, unfortunately, the original blog was lost inadvertantly when we switched to our new internet host. BUMMER! Though unwieldy, the blog had evolved into an interesting source of straight-forward information for myself and others.
Well, I always believe that things are much better when you make the second attempt. So here`s to the New Disc Golf Lifestyle Blog. Where my peeps and I can spout off some truths and wisdoms about the fantastic sport of disc golf. Frankly, this is the one place that you can get frank information tailored to your needs. All you have to do is register and join the conversation.
Contests and Giveaways - As in the past, the blog will be the primary outlet for our contests and giveaways! Keep an eye out for numerous opportunities to win as we come up with creative ways to generate content and give away Promotional Prizes!
For now, we`re sorry about the generic look. We`ll be upgrading the look and feel as soon as we finish developing the new template.
Thanks for hanging with us and wlecome back!

We have 2 courses here in Ames, Iowa (though they’re under snow right now). The one at Gateway Park is especially fun and really busy. At the beginning of the dg season you might have to wait in line behind 12- 15 people before you can tee off. Worth it though.

I know the Polar Bear by Daredevil Discs is designed for cold weather putting and I would imagine the FLX ESP discs by Discraft won`t be nearly as stiff in cold weather. But frankly I don`t have enough experience playing in cold weather to have developed a gameplan for it Sububus. Anyone else have any suggestions?
