Innova DX Sidewinder
Author: Joe G.Has anybody thrown this yet? This disc seems like the dream come true for players who want a disc that will do most of the work for you. If its a little too stable brand new, just hit a few trees until it gets just right. This will be the perfect driver for long turnover shots. A driver that`s easy to replace and easy to beat in so you won`t have to wait so long for it fly right when you break out a new one. We`re just wondering how its doing out there on the course if anyone`s had a chance to throw it yet. Let us know and you could win a Deluxe Custom Promo Pack!

The Brick by Gateway
Author: Joe G.Hats off to the guys at Gateway for a little self-deprecating humor and an utterly odd disc which I`m sure has more than one use on and off the disc golf course. First, for the golf course, we must give credit where credit is due. The new 10 Meter Brick takes it`s job seriously, which is to be a putter that stays very close to the basket. First off, the disc practically will not roll and if it does it won`t be very far. So, if I`m playing a course like perhaps Cedar Hills in Raleigh, NC, this disc would certainly offer an advantage over any other disc on the market - it won`t roll down those dangerously sloped, barren greens. Second, if you have the propensity to blow by the basket when you miss, this disc drops like a, well, like a brick. It`s very unlikely to be gunned more than 15 feet past the basket. Also, it does not skip - it stops - where it hits. Fast greens will be fast no more. You want more? Well, if it gets anywhere near the chains, they are likely to grab it and pull it in. I`ve seen some of the most unlikely shots get sucked in. It doesn`t bounce, so forget about bounce outs and hop outs off of the bottom of the basket and it`s rubbery so it doesn`t slide of the pole or the chains and blow through. If you`re putting on subpar baskets with light chains, the brick will probably work great. And I`m willing to bet the disc is soft enough on the edges that you could practice your putting in your house. The big question now is - “Can you putt with it?” Well, I`ll leave that for you to decide. I have no doubt that some people will be able to putt with it. Personally, if I were to use it as a putter, I would throw it with my lower arm as opposed to snapping it with my wrist. Once you get it on a straight line all you have to worry about is the height and it`ll go in. If you like this disc or don`t like this disc, please let us know. We appreciate your feedback. Next up, I`ll tell you about an excellent game that we`ve invented here in our showroom that can be played with the 10M Brick. It can be played indoors or outdoors. I just got done playing it and I`m all fired up. It`s not disc golf but we play it with baskets and I`m sure I can make rules to play it without baskets. It`s great exercise and a heck-of-a lot-of fun. If it wasn`t, I wouldn`t waste time telling you about it. It won`t hurt your golf game and probably may improve it. I`ll let you know.
Hey, what are you guys throwing?
Author: Joe G.There`s so many discs out there these days I started this post so we have an idea of what disc does what for who so maybe we won`t have to try out every single one of them. Please describe what`s in your bag for us and what you use it for. Every month, I`ll give someone that comments on this post their favorite disc for free. All you have to do is tell us what you like and why.
